Skills for Industry programmes are training courses tailored to the needs of industry and employers.
They aim to provide employers with trained employees and enable people to move towards sustainable employment. The programmes can be offered in one of two ways.
Work and Income contracts with a Training Provider to deliver a pre-employment training programme tailored to meet the needs
of employers within a particular sector.
Work and Income contracts directly with an employer to ensure suitable people are recruited, employed and trained
